Cost of Coaching (2012)
Workshops and Workshop-Based Sessions
Workshops such as The Expat’s Way all have a different duration (some are 90 minutes, etc.). Some run for 1 session and others multiple. The costs are always clearly indicated and from time to time there are special offers and even free workshops.
Please always check for the particular workshop and the time period. Prices vary depending on minimum number of participants necessary. If a workshop session of 90 minutes costs €20/session and is made up of 3 sessions, the cost per person is €60. When the minimum number of participants is 3, then an individual wanting to have the workshop alone (no other participants), will pay the cost of 3 participants. Of course, the advantage of this is that if there is no workshop scheduled or you cannot make the dates, you can still do the workshop ‘solo’ and do not have to miss out on the opportunity. The cost will then be €180 for the entire workshop of 3 sessions of 90 minutes each. This can work out more economically than individual coaching sessions (that are not following the workshop agenda).
One-on-One Coaching Sessions
One-on-One single session coaching is €60/hour. The client travels to the session. Fees paid at the beginning of the session or through bank transfer before the session.
You may make a block booking. Depending on number of sessions, this rate will be adjusted so you receive a discount. For example, pre-booking and paying for 3 sessions will cost €150 (so you pay €50/hour and make a saving of €30). Pre-booking a larger number of sessions of going to 90 minutes to a 2 hour session will also benefit you.
Additional Costs
Some workshops may include the purchase of a book, eg. The Thankful Way which costs €20 when you purchase directly from me – (also sold at The American Book Center in the Hague and Amsterdam). You will be made aware of this prior to booking.
One on one coaching sessions do not usually have additional costs attached. If your coach has to travel to the session, the client pays travel and time costs (discuss with your coach). At times it is possible that your coach is already at the venue (e.g. The Hague) for some other purpose and you can benefit from this (if you live in the Hague for example).
Also note, that prices above refer to direct coaching. (Reasonable) interaction on Facebook is complimentary to all clients and potential clients as well as fans. Email and special requests for additional coaching & consulting via. email, telephone, Skype etc. are billable and you will be provided with the details.
Your coach is open to discussing alternate package deals to those offered above, e.g. combination of Skype, email, telephone and personal coaching.
Cancellation Policy
If you have any queries regarding cancellation policy, please feel free to discuss. Individual sessions are paid in advance. Cancellations of individual sessions need to be made 2 weeks prior to session and rescheduling is possible. Cancellation 1 week before session (Mon. – Fri.) is possible at a cost of 50% of fee.
Cancellation due to genuine medical emergencies and other such emergencies beyond are accommodated at the discretion of the coach.
Cancellation during the course of a package deal (discount due to booking multiple sessions), e.g. a 4 session package will revert to the fees per session (original price) plus the cancellation policy above.
